How to Choose Wing Sauces for a Group

Ordering wings for one person is easy. Ordering for a table of eight, where one friend wants XXX Hot and another won't touch anything spicy, takes a little planning.

Start with a mild "safe" sauce

Always include one crowd-pleaser with little or no heat. Options like Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, Garlic or a parmesan sauce give cautious eaters something to enjoy.

Add one middle-ground heat

Medium or Hot is where most people land. It's flavorful without being a challenge.

Let the heat-seekers have their own

If someone loves heat, give them a smaller portion of the hottest option instead of making the whole order spicy. Less waste, and nobody's left out.

Mix flavor styles, not just heat

A good group order covers different tastes:

  • Buffalo-style heat: Mild, Medium, Hot, XHot, XXX Hot
  • Sweet or tangy: Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, Dijon Honey Mustard
  • Savory: Garlic, Caesar Parm, Spiedie

The full breakdown is on our 19 wing sauces page.

Keep the sides coming

Hotter sauces mean more celery and bleu cheese. Our wings include both, and extra is available.

Think beyond wings

Not everyone wants bone-in wings. Chicken bites, tenders or buffalo shrimp take the same sauces, and pierogies or fries round out the table.
